Custom Anbu Mask- The Hawkby ~mell0w-m1nded

this is my first attempt at making a mask so take it easy >_<

My ANBU mask for AX. I didn't like any of the masks I've seen and a bird just seems to appeal to me so I made my own. As far as technicals go I just followed tutorials I found on Cosplay.com and added the beak. Think the hardest part was the paintwork. took me a dozen designs be for I settled on the one I used. I added my "Hidden Gate" symbol just to take up space.

Honestly, I'm not too happy with how it came out, not unhappy tho. it's fairly decent. If I had more time maybe it would have come out better. oh well

I have to ask this as this mask is just bloody awesome, but how heavy is the mask and is it wearable considering you made it from clay?

I didn't use clay, I used Crayola Model Magic. it's a lighter material that when it dries has a similar consistency to craft foam. it makes the over all mask light and easy to wear.

Hmm...I don't have a clue where to get that but thank you anyway. I was generally curious as I really like the design of this mask and wanted to incorporate some elements into my anbu Temari cosplay.

I covered a basic plastic face mask with Crayola foam clay and sculpted it into the shape I wanted. that's basically it
